Straight Pool Deluxe 5.2 — One player list

5.0 brought the people you play and the people you score into a single player list. 5.1 let you merge duplicate entries for the same person. 5.2 removes the last seams, so older “scored-only” players are now treated exactly like everyone else.

“Scored” players are just players now

Older versions kept a separate list for people you only ever scored games for. Those entries used to carry a small gray “Scored” tag in your player list. That tag is gone along with the separate scored vs played lists.

Play anyone

The app used to limit those older scored-only entries to scored games only — you couldn’t start a normal you-vs-them game with one. That restriction is lifted. You can now start any game against any player on your list, and it’s tracked like any other game.

What to do

Nothing — just update. Your players, games, and stats are unchanged; this release only removes old restrictions and tidies how the list looks. As always, keeping all your iPads on the latest version gives you the smoothest sync.

Thanks for playing — feedback@straightpooldeluxe.com if anything looks off.
